This sauce is also delicious spooned over roasted and steamed vegies.
I particularly like it over steamed broccoli with roasted slivered almonds sprinkled over the top. And don't panic - the lentil and nut loaf this sauce is paired with may take ages but the sauce is whipped up in minutes.
Combine all ingredients together and blend well.
Note: There are a number of ways to buy tofu. Silken is soft with a texture similar to a crème caramel. It's used to make desserts and sauces. Soft tofu can be scrambled, steamed or added to Asian soups and hard tofu is perfect in stir fries, or to make vegetarian cutlets and burgers.
