Give your kids a piece of custard apple bruschetta and they may think being cooped up at home is not so bad after all. Substitute walnut sourdough for wholegrain if nuts are a problem.
In a small bowl combine the ricotta with the maple syrup.
Spread this mixture over the sourdough toast. Top with generous pieces of fresh custard apple.
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
Lower grill heat to moderate and cook until the sugar begins to turn golden and the bread is toasted around the edges.
