I keep a packet of mountain bread in the freezer to whip up these yummy crispy snacks at a moments notice. They make a much healthier alternative to the fat laden chips and crackers usually serve with dips.
Brush the mountain bread with olive oil and sprinkle the spice mix over the surface.
Tear or cut into small pieces and place on a baking tray and bake for 3 - 5 minutes until the bread had dried out and is crispy.
Set aside to cool and store leftovers in an airtight container.
Note: Mountain bread is available from supermarkets and health food stores. They are made from a variety of different grains, but all contain wheat flour and are therefore unsuitable for coeliacs.
