This revitilising tea is best drunk hot. Enjoy it in place of coffee and be sure to eat the flesh of the umeboshi plum.
Bring 2 cups of water to boil in a small saucepan. Add 1 heaped teaspoon of tea and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Place 1 umeboshi mashed umeboshi plum and the tamari in a large cup. Pour in the hot tea and add the freshly grated ginger.
