These are a perfect alternative to dessert at the end of an evening meal. Serve them with a nice pot of herbal tea or for the foolhardy, coffee. Always use 70% cocoa chocolate.
Peel and segment the oranges, removing the white pith but leaving the membrane around each segment. Bring a pan of water to the boil. Turn off the heat and place a bowl of grated chocolate or chocolate broken into very small pieces over the pan to melt in the heat of the steam. Let the chocolate sit for approx 5 minutes until it's melted. Stir until smooth. Lay a piece of baking paper on a plate. Dip ½ of each orange segment into the chocolate and lay them on the paper to set.
