Despite the spices children seem to love this chicken so it makes a perfect meal for entertaining. You can make it in advance to free up your time to meet and greet your guests. In fact the earlier you make it the more tasty it will be.
Serve it with a salad and some beans to boost the fibre content.
Trim off any excess bits of chicken skin and fat wipe the chicken with a damp cloth.
Combine the spices together in a bowl and mix with the olive oil, lime juice and garlic.
Stir the paste through the yoghurt then spread it over the chicken on all sides,
Set a side for a few hours until you are ready to cook.
Heat a BBQ to hot then sear the chicken for 3 - 4 minutes on each side.
Transfer to a oven heated to 180C and cook through for a further 8 minutes.
Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
Serve with steamed green beans or salad and accompanying cucumber raita
Makes 6 servings (serve = 220g)
