The wolfberry bush is grown in northwest China and has been used to promote health since ancient times. Also known to herbalists as Lycii berries, the Chinese wolfberry is often used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is seen to have 'yin' or cooling properties. Wolfberries are high in antioxidants, amino acids and trace minerals.
Often referred to as Goji berries, wolfberries are a member of the same species but have been farmed in China, whereas authentic Goji berries are grown in Tibet.
