Snowpeas are also known as mangetout or Chinese peas. Mangetout is the French word for "eat it all" which is exactly what you do with snow peas. The edible pods are flat and thin and contain about 7 tiny, sweet peas.

Choose crisp pods with bright green colour. Avoid flaccid, dry pods and any with signs of discolouration.
To Store:
Refrigerate in the crisper section in a plastic bag for up to 3 days.
Tips & Tricks:
Snowpeas need the strings removed. Snap the stalk off the end and pull the attached string down the length of the pod. It takes seconds.
One serve is equal to about 10 snowpeas.
Cooking Tips:
Snow peas are perfect lightly steamed with a small amount of lightly flavoured olive oil. They are excellent in stir-fries.
